Kappa Honor Society. During his optometric training, Dr.
Wang performed externships at the renowned Barnet
Dulaney Perkins Eye Center (Phoenix, AZ), Indian Health
Service (Lawton, OK) and the VA Ambulatory Care Center

AcuFocus, Inc. (Irvine, CA) in the development of a
proprietary corneal inlay to eliminate our dependence on
reading glasses. In his research endeavors, Dr. Wang has
traveled extensively and worked with renowned surgeons
across the country in the field of retinal and
refractive surgery, including colleagues at the Wills
Eye Hospital (Philadephia, PA) and Bascom Palmer Eye
Institute (Miami, FL). In 2006, to transition back to
patient care, Dr. Wang opened and founded AcuVision
Family Optomety, adjacent to the Whittier Pediatric
Group. In clinical practice, Dr. Wang enjoys sharing his
research knowledge to help patients identify creative
solutions for their unique vision and eye care needs. |

Carolina |
Carolina is the gatekeeper to our practice. Carolina is
the cheerful personality at our front desk that greets
patients when they walk into our office. Prior to
working at AcuVision in 2007, Carolina worked as a
customer service specialist at Ecology Auto Parts. She
was in charge of purchase orders and accounts
receivable. Similarly, Carolina manages our vendor
accounts and statements from insurance companies.
She is the primary reason most patients return to
AcuVision after 'interviewing' different offices on
where to receive their eye exam. Whether it is a broken
frame or a change in insurance plans, Carolina will be
able to answer all your eye care related questions. |
